OnSet Staffing
Production staffing made easy.
The time clock for traffic control, parking and firewatch crews working on
productions. The office posts a job with a pin on the map. The crew sees where to be, clocks in
with photo evidence, and the hours reach payroll without anyone retyping them.
For crews
- Your next shift, where it is, and one button to start check-in
- Photos and a site note at clock-in, with the app telling you what is still missing
- Works with no signal — punches save on the phone and send themselves
- Your week, with directions to the job's pin
- Ask for open jobs; the office approves and it lands on your calendar
- Your hours, and a correction request when a punch is wrong
For the office
- Who is on the clock, who has not shown up, what is still to fill
- Call or text a late crew member from the screen that flags them
- Create and edit jobs in place; shifts move with the job
- Fix hours after the fact when someone forgets to clock out
- Everything needing a decision, at the top of Timesheets
- The payroll timesheet as an Excel file in your own layout
Location is shared only while you are on the clock. The app records your position
when you clock in and out, and shares it with your office every few minutes while you are clocked
in so dispatch can see where the crew is. It starts at clock-in and stops at clock-out —
nothing is recorded off the clock, and your iPhone shows its location indicator while it is on.
Text message work alerts
Crew can choose to get a text when they are put on a job, when a job they are on changes, or
when their shift is cancelled. It is off until you turn on Text me work alerts in the
app under More → Account. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to
opt out, HELP for help. How text alerts work
Getting an account
Accounts are created by the office, not by signing up. If you work for us and have not been
given a login, ask your supervisor.
